I have recently started my journey in applied zoopharmacognosy (founded by Caroline Ingraham in the UK) and I find it absolutely fascinating. The beautiful thing about essential oils sessions is that they are completely guided by your dog. They are the ones selecting the remedies and letting us know what they need. Therefore you might realise your dog is having issues you were not aware of - dogs are very good at initially hiding their pain from us, until it becomes unbearable and then you might see a change in behaviour. Essential oils sessions also develop communication between an owner and their dog and the bond between them.
Training or behaviour issues can very often be triggered by pain or discomfort in our dogs. I have seen some great results with essential oils and that's why I have decided to slowly incorporate them along training sessions. They can help so many issues from infections to gut problems, anxiety, trauma, arthritis and pain. If you want to know more about it, feel free to ask me.
